Looking for a simple Independence Day activity for your senior living calendar? This Fourth of July Roll & Race Dice Game is an easy printable dice game designed for seated table play.

Residents roll one die and cross off a matching image in that column. The first player to cross off all the images in one column and reach the bottom wins. The game includes patriotic images.

This activity works well for 4th of July weekend programming, patriotic activity days, summer kickoff events, and low-prep afternoon table games.

How to Play

  1. Print one game sheet for each resident.
  2. Give each resident a pencil, marker, crayon, or bingo dauber.
  3. Players take turns rolling one die.
  4. Match the number rolled to the image column.
  5. Cross off one image in that column.
  6. Keep rolling until someone reaches the bottom of a column.

15–25 minutes

The game can be shortened or extended depending on group size and resident engagement.
