Christmas Memories Reminiscence Activity for Seniors | Seated Activity + Memory Cards

Looking for an easy Christmas activity that encourages residents to talk, laugh, reminisce, and connect?

Raise Your Hand If… Christmas Memories is a seated holiday reminiscence activity created for senior living and activity programs.

The facilitator reads each Christmas-themed statement aloud, and residents raise their hand when the memory applies to them. Prompts explore familiar holiday experiences such as Christmas catalogs, handmade decorations, church programs, Christmas cards, traditional treats, family gatherings, and childhood traditions.

The activity is intentionally low-pressure and conversation-focused. There are no correct answers and no scoring. If one prompt leads to ten minutes of storytelling, that is part of the activity.
