This is a Halloween bingo game built for older adults, not a classroom party printable. Thirty-three pictures of the season — the jack-o'-lantern and the black cat, but also the candle in the window, the lantern, the raven, the witch's striped stockings, the candy corn nobody can agree about — each printed with its name underneath, so nobody has to guess what they're looking at.

Every one of the 33 call cards has a short clue for the facilitator to read aloud, and underneath it, a question about the player's own life:

 *GHOST — "A sheet with two holes cut in it — the easiest costume there ever was."

 **Talk about it:** Did you ever wear a sheet? Who cut the holes, and did you cut up a good one?

That second line is the whole point. A quiet room turns into a room describing homemade costumes, the house everyone dared each other to walk past, and exactly what a nickel bought at the candy counter.

**A note for facilitators**

A few cards are on the spooky side — the Skeleton, the Zombie, the Zombie Hand and the Eyeball. In memory care or hospice, images like that can unsettle a resident. Look through before you start and pull any you'd rather not call; the game plays perfectly well without them. The facilitator guide says so too.
