This is a vegetable bingo game built for older adults, not a classroom nutrition worksheet. Thirty vegetables, from the everyday to the ones that need a second look — carrots, corn and potatoes, but also okra, bok choy, celery root, kale and kidney beans — each printed with its name underneath, so nobody has to guess what they're looking at.

Food reaches people. Ask a room about vegetables and you don't get a nutrition lecture, you get the porch where they snapped green beans, whose mother boiled the cauliflower to death, and the one summer the neighbors wouldn't stop leaving squash on the doorstep.

**It's also a word-finding exercise.**

Naming familiar objects is standard language work. The facilitator guide says it plainly: if someone can't find the word, describe the picture and let them get there — don't supply it too quickly. That makes this useful in speech and occupational therapy sessions, not only on the activity calendar.

There's no holiday attached and no season. Print it in February or in July; it works the same. That makes it the one to reach for when the calendar has a hole in it.
