This is a winter bingo game built for older adults, not a classroom worksheet. Thirty pictures of the season everybody actually lived through — the snowplow that blocks the end of the driveway, the frost on the inside of the window, hot chocolate, earmuffs, the toboggan, the shovel — each printed with its name underneath, so nobody has to guess what they're looking at.
**No holiday attached — which is the point.**
This one isn't Christmas, Hanukkah, or anything else, so it works in any facility, for any resident, from the first snow through the end of February. It's built for the stretch of the calendar when the decorations have come down, nobody can go outside, and the activity room needs something new.
**What makes it different: the call cards talk back.**
Every one of the 30 call cards has a short riddle for the facilitator to read aloud, and underneath it, a question about the player's own life:
*SNOWPLOW — "I come down the street at four in the morning and push a wall of snow across the end of your driveway."*
**Talk about it:** Did you have to dig out the end of the driveway? Could you hear me coming?
That second line is the whole point. A quiet room turns into a room comparing blizzards, arguing about gloves versus mittens, and telling you about the hill they used to sled down.
